Rummel’s commitment to safety continues to advance with specialized load-securement training for our Parts Runners, Pilot Drivers, and Heavy Transportation Teams. Load securement is about using different methods and tools to keep loads from shifting or falling during transportation. This not only protects the load and equipment being transported but also ensures the safety of everyone involved. The initiative began with comprehensive online courses, to ensure all Rummel drivers recognize the importance of securing loads effectively and understand best practices and regulations. This was followed by a hands-on session, where the drivers had the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
The collaborative efforts between our Safety, Maintenance, and Transportation departments reflect Rummel’s proactive approach to safety and its dedication to ensuring every employee-owner is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely and successfully. With this training, we are hopeful that employee-owners feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel.
